of very hard work. i try to give a guided visit for everybody means the history of this house why this house was constructed, how it was done and who is helping us. all the furniture that you see in this house is made in goa by goans. and this is something we are very proud of and this is also what we want to maintain as best as i can.
every day i walk through the house to see if there is anything that i can change and can revamp and bring better. this house belongs to our family. we have a big family the house belongs to us. but this house is open to all the family who wants to come and stay here with us. till my grandfather was alive this house was always a very lively house. my grandfather, he loved to have people here.
and this house was always full of people. everything has to be shining and everything has to be very well maintained. in the last, let's say 20 years, i was telling my mother and my aunt to do some revampings and some. but, again they were feeling it could be tough, difficulty of bringing people, working people here. i was a creative manager for estee lauder in portugal and lived in europe for 25 years.
this is my job. working with carpenters you know painters, whatever. and this was a challenge for me doing this kind of work with completely different materials and completely different environment also. but i knew exactly what i wanted. also i am searching new ways of maintaining and restoring things in the house. i have this musume house,
i have the homestay and i also visit people for lunches and dinners because i also want people to know the real goan cuisine and the real indo-portuguese cuisine.
