In 2009, I was lucky plenty to see southern India on the dorsum of a Royal Enfield bullet. What an incredible feeling, sweeping upwards mount roads, through tea plantations as well as tiger reserves, eyes peeled to direct handgrip of a glimpse of India’s wildlife.

The whole trip was memorable, but 1 detail 24-hour interval stuck alongside me. We gear upwards out at sunrise for a long day's ride. Back in 2009, India was 1 of 4 counties that hadn’t eradicated polio as well as its devastating effects. UNICEF works alongside India's authorities on a large-scale immunisation programme to wipe out polio as well as other childhood diseases.
Our ride continued through mountains as well as busy towns, where nosotros carefully negotiated traffic.
